From my understanding, you do not need much packing because most of your provisions will be provided by the Disney Cruise staff, so if you happen to need something you didn't pack, don't worry, you should be able to purchase whatever you need on board. You are going to be in an informal and casual mode atmosphere. These concerns should be addressed before making any commitments, things change. Required items like proof of citizenship, check-in items required before coming aboard, personal valuables, and if you if you are under certain medication requirements, make sure they are packed along with the containers you purchase the medicine in. One of your concerns in reference to purchasing items if you go ashore, visiting some of the islands, is how would you be able to purchase some of these items you may want to take with you should you decide to? What currency will you need to take advantage of some of the unique items you may come across?
