Disney Cruise Line, headquartered in Celebration, Florida. owned by The Walt Disney Company, operating two ships known as the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic,and a private island in the Bahamas, a port of call for Disney's ships.

Both ships in their design are identically the same, with only a slight difference in their lay out of the entertainment and restaurants. The Disney Wonder came into being around 1999 in August, and about a year earlier for the ship known as the Disney Magic, sometime in July of 1998. All age groups are catered to, from the toddler to the almost teen to the teen and the adults.

From my understanding disney cruise do not include casinos,they are out front when it comes to establishing family oriented cruise liners,providing the accommodations for both parents and children.

With the commission of its two ships at Fincantieri in Italy, the company created the Disney cruise line in 1995 ending tides with Premier Cruises for the maritime segment of its vacation packages.
From my understanding there are plans for two new ships to be added.

Making preparation for a Disney Cruise requires you to do some planning before hand,first make a decision as to which cruise ship and what you hope to get out of your Disney cruise vacation. If you have children coming with you, know what accommodations are being provided for them. Children of different ages require different activities to make them comfortable while on the cruise.If its an adult vacation you want to plan around activities geared toward adults. Go online, travel agents, or by phone to setup your cruise traveling plans. Make sure you have a complete schedule map for the cruise routine of travel, what type of activities are you allowed to enjoy while you out to sea, what are your options when in port, are all passengers required to leave ship, if so, what are the rules, if not, what are the rules while left on ship, what type of security will be at your disposal, and will there be any activities that you can participate in while some passengers are in port.

Packing for the cruise, what should you bring? Are there going to be special events requiring certain dress codes?

From my understanding, you do not need much packing because most of your provisions will be provided by the Disney Cruise staff, so if you happen to need something you didn't pack, don't worry, you should be able to purchase whatever you need on board. You are going to be in an informal and casual mode atmosphere. These concerns should be addressed before making any commitments, things change.


Required items like proof of citizenship, check-in items required before coming aboard, personal valuables, and if you if you are under certain medication requirements, make sure they are packed along with the containers you purchase the medicine in.

One of your concerns in reference to purchasing items if you go ashore, visiting some of the islands, is how would you be able to purchase some of these items you may want to take with you should you decide to? What currency will you need to take advantage of some of the unique items you may come across?
